The school is supported by an independent charity, The St Bernard’s High School Parents, Staff and Friends Association, known as the PSFA. Membership, as the name suggests, is drawn from the student parent body, staff and friends of the school.
The PSFA has two main activities. The one is to hold periodic events that allow the development of and opportunities to follow up friendships and such events have included quiz nights and pamper evenings. There is some fundraising but the focus has been the development of relationships. Over the next year we will be looking to re-energise this and if you would like to support this in anyway please contact the school business manager via firstname.lastname@example.org.
The second activity is the opportunity to make one off or regular donations to the Enrichment Fund. The Enrichment fund has always played a significant part towards the provision of additional facilities for the school that we would not be able to fund from our day to day budget. Historically the fund has supported the provision within the Performing Arts Centre, refurbishment of the St Helen’s Centre, outdoor furniture, additional science equipment and a lasercam.
