Our vision is that each our provision equips each student to make informed choices to improve life chances. Our destinations data reflect the diverse and impressive range of future pathway choices our St. Bernard’s High School students are supported to make.
POST-18 DESTINATIONS
In 2025, our Year 13 students achieved record success in highly competitive fields, including medicine, law, engineering, allied health, economics, finance, and the creative arts.
Most students (84%) progressed to higher education, with 79% securing their UCAS first-choice offer. One in five students will study at a Russel Group University, including the Universities of Birmingham, Edinburgh, Durham, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield, and Southampton.
Alongside university destinations, students successfully planned gap years, and secured apprenticeships with leading organisations such as BAE Systems, IBM, and Google.
POST-16 DESTINATIONS

In 2025, most students continued their Level 3 studies in a school sixth form (68%) or a college sixth form (31%), with only a small minority studying elsewhere.
The A-level route for Level 3 was taken by 79% of students. Around 18% followed a vocational route, including BTECs, while a small number opted for apprenticeships or T levels.
